Brushing while I work

My dad likes to sing the whistle while you work song when he goes gold mining. He is a dork, I love him though even though he has an addiction to gold mining and it is pretty intense. Oh well, he isn't hurting anyone, it is good exercise, let him be happy.
Anyway! Hello!
I kept meaning to post yesterday and it was just not a good day. It was humid, my computer was just not having it, and I just was super tired from the weekend. But here I am!
I woke up at 3, because I can't sleep at night and started working. I decided while working that I would brush my hair. I need to keep up with that.
I have a problem that I forget to brush my hair, normally because I get depressed and the last thing I want to do is tame my wild beast that is my hair when all I want to do is wallow in my own misery.
But since I am in an okay state I need to keep up with my hair because when I don't it pretty much turns into another creature. Like I get rats in my hair so big that I am surprised they are not actual rats and they don't come to life.
But right now though! My hair is all pretty and I can actually run my fingers through it without them getting caught. My hair hasn't been like that in ages! It is amazing!
I'm going to get a bottle of tea to drink now. I was going to say a bottle of water, but I have been drinking water all night and I want flavor and to get back to work.
If I think of the posts I wanted to make yesterday, I shall get to them but right now my brain is just obsessing with how soft my hair it!

LOL, you should have curly hair, everyday its a rats nest till it wet and brushed. I would love to have your hair.

I have wavy hair that is super thick. My hair is almost as stick as thread pretty much, so when it knots, it is very difficult to get it out.

I think that is so cute that your father sings that while he is out searching for gold. I bet he is where you get your silly cute quirks from. My hair is wavy/curly so I can't brush it unless it is very wet as it will frizz terrible!

Haha maybe it is! I am not really sure. My mom is pretty quirky as well. But he is for sure where I get my loud excitement from and obsession with anything I really like from.

I have thick, curly hair, and the only time I usually brush it is when it's wet...otherwise it turns into a massive poof ball.

Haha I am glad I only have wavy hair, but it is very thick as well so it is terrible when it gets into knots.

@Srbageldog I have had to cut many knots out haha my hair is still growing back from a time when I cut the back of my hair completely.

Depends on how bads the rats are. Some days it takes like 4 hours. Others just 30 minutes. I think this time because I was also working it took like an hour.

You sound like me. There are times I forget to brush my hair and I don't even look in the mirror and then suddenly I go past a mirror and it's like WOW what or who is that. Oh, yes silly me forgot to brush her hair

The thing is, the front of my hair when it is messy it looks amazing. The back not so much! So when my mom tells me something then I have to brush it haha

I cut my hair by myself if feeling depressed. All of us usually brush our hair with our fingers hehehe.

Brushing my hair is the part of my daily routine, I do it every morning. And sometimes it is not easy to brush even I do it quite often.

I love brushing my hair also, it feels good. It's been a part of my daily routine, but I avoid to brush it when it's wet to avoid hair fall..

I try and brush it went it is wet but it just doesn't work out because it just frizzes up again when it dries. the woes of having thick hair.
