Do you have a signature article of clothing?

Whenever I leave the house to go anywhere, be it shopping, to an appointment or just out for a walk, I never leave without my hat. It is my "signature", so to speak. I feel naked without it.
It is well over six years old and worn to the max, but I still receive compliments on my hat, even from total strangers.
Do you have a signature article of clothing or an accessory that is uniquely you and you can't leave your house or apartment without?

No real signature article of clothing...but I have an angora sweater that gets a lot of use in the "between" months....not frigid winter, but needing a coat. The sweater is 15 years old and still looks brand new. I get compliments every time I wear it.

I have a hoodie that I got for christmas in 2008 that I can't bring myself to throw out.

@Starmaiden I have a red hoodie that my daughter gave me for Christmas a few years ago. It is a double layer fleece, so it's very warm. At the moment it is doubling as my winter coat (spring just doesn't want to break through) and my winter coat was left in New Brunswick (I didn't anticipate needing it until the end of April.

i'm not a hat-wearer but that is definitely a cool one.
oh, i remember when i had red loafers (a hand-me-down from my sister). i notice people on the street would look at it.

@Starmaiden yes, I wear them year round when I am outdoors. I am barefoot in my home and wear flip flops or sandals when I go to swim
