I am very mad was suppose to get my new kindle today but mail person said she could not get to our door so did not deliver it. So now I will not get it til Monday now. It was delivered to the mailbox last time I got it and would have fit fine in there this time I am not happy they are going to hear about this Monday because my boyfriend is not happy either. We have a mail person that is a witch she will say she has come to our door and never did and my boyfriend willl call and complain but they never do nothing. I will get it Monday for sure or I will be throwing a tantrum until I do.

I would if they was open they was only open til noon and by the time I found out she tried delivering it it was past noon.

You should get one of those little doorbell cameras that you can buy pretty inexpensively at places like Home Depot or Lowes, and install it at your front door. Then, when the mail lady makes excuses about not being able to deliver to you, you can just contact her supervisor and show the video from your doorbell camera. It will show that she never even attempted to make the delivery.

@Tina30219 Smart thinking! I have one of those trail cams too, and I love using it for so many other things. They work great and are easy to hide!

just stand outside Monday when you see them coming. Though, you shouldn't need to. and they should've left it today.

I hope so. By Monday more of our snow should be melted and if she needs to get in the driveway she can. But she had no reason to get in the driveway to deliver it.

@kobesbuddy enough to get in. But it still Gould have been put in the mailbox it was in a small package it was in the mailbox last time it was delivered. I will be camping at the mailbox Monday to get it.

I had to call the post office once. They kept sending back mail I sent to my grandmother. I told them it was a real person and real address. I mean it's in a regular neighborhood. They looked it up and said they don't know why anyone was sending it back. But they did three times.

That's annoying.
Did Amazon send it with a guaranteed delivery date? If they did and you're a Prime member, reach out to their customer service. They will give you an extra month of Prime for not meeting the delivery deadline.
I wouldn't be surprised if the package was actually too large to be put in the box, unfortunately... Amazon has been really weird lately and I've gotten a couple of small things like a bottle of vitamins and a package of 14 pens that were in gigantic packages compared to the item that was in them.

Yes I had a set date and it was today not a prime member though. It was not to big to go in the mailbox because that is where the first one was when I got it was in my mailbox. I will be standing guard by the mailbox Monday and I will get it for sure

@Tina30219 At least they'll make an attempt to redeliver! At our old apartments they'd just leave a notice and I'd have to go to the post office if they didn't leave it for whatever reason. They never paid attention to the notes from Amazon saying for the carrier to leave the package if there was no response.
Funnily enough our current carrier is happy to leave everything, even though things are a lot less protected here than they used to be. Mail carriers are weird.

That's kind of sad it's almost there. Can't they just call or text you just to confirm the delivery?
