Has anyone ever donated online?

I got to know about some sites where you can donate online to charites , I feel that its really good if you can help someone but then, what if you are being tricked by someone? What if it turns out to be a scam?

You can always be tricked, online and offline. I donate regularly to some charities of which I know that they are honest.

@Swayamsiddha Inform yourself about them if they're honest. In Germany, there is a list which contains honest organisations. That's very helpful.

What little money I have left for donations usually go to a Buddhist temple. In an envelope which is sealed. No online donations for me.

@Swayamsiddha Yes, I have been following (practicing) the Buddhist path for more than 30 years. The main reason is that Buddhism is not judgemental!

@Swayamsiddha Sometimes I donate on this website: Red Cross Society Of China, Nowadays I mostly donate on the site below in the picture. I don't know how to say it in English. Water drop or something else.

I dont do anything online that involves spending money. The internet has become just another venue for crime related activity. When I donate to charity I give it in person.
