I'm missing my lovies

It's summer and i agreed to my mom last April 5th that she will bring the kids to her hometown for a summer vacation. I thought it would be fine and that i can handle it since we have this technology that provides easy access to communication. I thought we can see each other whenever i miss them via Skype, FB or IMO. But sadly our internet connection got lost because i somehow broke the line while i was cleaning the modem.., huhuhu the provider told me to wait up to 7 days to fix this. Last night, i couldn't help it anymore. I watched a drama that was about a family. Tears were falling so hard and by the time the drama ended, gosh my eye bags looked terrible. Now, it's Monday here, and i couldn't see clearly because of puffy eyes. What am i suppose to do? I have so many files to sort and encode. Gosh, i should've not watched the movie. I miss my kids. This is the very first time in 15 years that i have been away from them. It breaks my heart not to see their faces. I will try to stay focused at work. I called them but it seemed never enough. Have you had the same experience as i did? How did you handle missing someone? Please share. Happy Monday!

I have never experienced that since I live near my family. I have no kids either yet. But when I miss someone. It really kills me not to see them.

Yes of course, I am missing my family so much, it's been a long time since I saw them, 5 years ago. In my island there is no internet connection so whenever I missed them ,I will just call them on my phone ..(voice call) Hopefully your internet connection will be back soon...

You can take comfort from the fact that they are probably having a great time with Grandma.
