Why do you love summer?

Summer is here! "Oh, I don't know why but I always love the idea of summer!" - Olaf Love I love summer because of the warm weather, the school vacation, and the endless fun. I really enjoy the warm weather because it’s the perfect atmosphere to do outdoor activities. My favorite part of summer has to be the fact that school is closed for two months. Moms everywhere feel relief because no more spelling lists and book reports getting done. It's finally warm enough to go to the beach! Now is the time to travel and visit your friends from school at their homes! This is a particularly good time of year to be outside and exploring all the glorious nature around you think of it as going on a wildlife adventure. Overall, summer is just a wonderful season with so much fun! How about you? Why do you love summer? And why not?

Usually it is sunny in summer and we can have more outdoor activities. Besides, I don't really mind the hot weather. I am much more afraid of the cold weather.

Our summers are disgustingly hot...we peak around 44 to 45 degrees Celsius. We can't go out for obvious reason...unless you fancy sweating. You would be constantly thirsty, and drinks available are expensive at such times. Inside home, it is hot, and because of spurt in power consumption we have load shedding - which means no power at times, so no air conditioners. Water coolers make the room humid, that is if there is enough water around. Positive...we get kulfis, which are great traditional ice creams even though I suffer from lactose intolerance. We get palm fruits, which again give tummy ache but well..I cannot resist.

Yeah. One thing you would hate about summer is that you can almost feel the heat of the sun. We don't have an air conditioner at home and I also work at night I always have a hard time sleeping during daytime.

It is spring in Louisiana.I love summer because it is hot and you can go swimming.
