Lastnight a man accosted a woman near 11th and Fort here in the Northend where I live with my daughter and grandson. He slashed the woman's cheek and her chest. The woman was able to get away. We live near 36th and State here which is in the same side of town where this happened. It alarms me because my daughter is often running errands during late hours. I would hate for her to come up against this person. He might not make out very well. My daughter is tough! I say this rather tongue in cheek. I always worry when she goes out late in the night to run an errand. State is a busy street and drivers are idiots and drive much too fast. Now there is an added worry.
