Last Wednesday it was my husband’s 29th birthday! The kids came home from school and with there little brother they helped me mix the gluten free cake mix we got and made there daddy soem cupcakes. After they had baked and cooled down a bite I frosted them and then let the kids decorate one cupcake each. If I let them do them all it would have taken all evening and then I wouldn’t have finished dinner since I was multitasking. I decorated the rest of the frosted cupcakes. At least 6 cupcakes where unfrosted. I rand our of one container of frosting and didn’t want to use another because we wouldn’t have finished it off. So I’m saving it for another day we have cakes or brownies.

I have to eat gluten-free, also! There are many different mixes now, for cakes and all kinds of nice treats:) Happy 29th Birthday, to your husband

@ShyBear88 I can't have dye, either. Many things have additives, preservatives, and dye. I try to avoid them.

@kobesbuddy yeah there is certain dyes they contain wheat same with things that have carmal coloring. I have learned that US based soda even though it’s carmal coloring is gluten free because it’s naturally that color from the corn syrup.

@ShyBear88 That is very special. I bet the kids had fun. Do they lick the bowl too? I loved to lick the bowl. So, what did your husband say about his surprise?

No licking the bowl uncooked eggs isn’t good for you it can cause bacteria that can kill you. He loved it! He isn’t a big fan of gluten free treats but he said it wasn’t bad.

@Hannihar haha yeah if it was frosting I would so let them lick it. When you have lived your whole life eating things with gluten you tend to know the difference. There is a lot of gluten free stuff naturally. Some of it you wouldn’t know is gluten free even if you st it was told later. We do gluten free pasta and people don’t know the differences

@ShyBear88 I am also not a fan of gluten free either. I am glad he loved it. I thought it was frosting. No, uncooked eggs would not be good.
