Experimenting myLot Payback!

I go down the list of new discussions, respond to the ones of Mylotters who regularly respond to mine....and any that pique my interest. Then I go to my notifications and try to respond to everyone who has given me some commentary. After that, I'm usually out of time.

I try to do this from time to time. With all of the other activity going on though, it can be difficult to interact the same way all the time.

I try to reciprocate to those corresponding with me but also with some just for writing good posts too

That is a good thought even through I do not really need that to take place

I like to interact with people who have left comments on my discussions. I always respond to those who comment.

what i do is, i respond to whoever comments on my discussions, check their wall, and read and comment any of their posts that i find interesting. i think it is interaction that is truly enhanced when we reciprocate anything others do to us

When I am commenting on responses to my discussions I try to visit anyone I see a lot, as well as, of course, commenting on their responses. It makes good interaction.

I try to do this as well.. in fact it is how I ended up here.. at this discussion... Thank you for commenting on mine!

That reminds me of bubblews and it's not my kind of thing. I'm usually at people's discussion whether they're at mine or not. But I rarely make my own discussion so I'm fine with it.

That's pretty much how Mylot works for everyone here I think..

You've got the right idea. It's amazing how many people just put a post up then sit back and wait for the world to come to them. Reciprocation is the key on sites like this.

I read and comment on a heap of 'my following' discussions then I reply to the notifications on my posts. Hopefully I don't miss anyone.

I would say the majority of us work mylot in that way to some degree but there are a percentage that don't. What that percentage is I don't know. I know of two that I've considered friends until I realized after spending a lot of time with them that they didn't do the same thing. So, now I consider them acquaintances or cousins of the nth degree who you see every so many years or so. I do my notifications first, mostly. Except for times like now I ran across your name while checking back in with Darcy, who has been frequenting my posts recently. I came to check you out mostly because I was surprised you didn't have some type of Avatar and your not a new member.

It's a good thing to do. I do the same.
