Last day to dog sit, driving to Portland about Five PM

Eugene, Oregon
May 2, 2018 4:23pm CST
This five days has gone fast with plenty of grand-dogwalks and lap time. But my daughter gets back to Portland at about 7 PM, so I will leave here at five with the Chihuahua secured to a seat belt and hope that she does not complain loudly more than a few minutes. It's about a two hour drive, so I will stay over night then drive home by noon, I hope.

Maybe a drip of Vodka in the doggy food?

Not a bad idea, but she quieted down within a mile or two.

@JamesHxstatic Does the dog hate car rides? In the picture he or she looks very comfortable. Does he or she have a favorite toy that goes along for the ride and visits?

She settles down pretty uickly in the car really. She has some favorite toys that travel with her and I have some here for her as well.

Some dogs do not like car rides, I hope the Chihuahua was quiet during those two hours drive.

She did quiet down pretty quickly and slept too, in her little bed. I had her secured to a seat belt and the timing all worked perfectly. I got back today about 3 PM.
