Who is the head of your family? / myLot

Hello, everyone! I believe that all adults in the family should have family meetings before making important decisions. Even teenagers' point of view can be considered. But only one person, the head of the family, should be responsible for the final decision. I think that a family is like a crew on a plane, but only one pilot is leading it. If two pilots fight for leading, the plane can be crushed. In some families, a husband is the head of the family, in others - a wife. Some people joke that nowadays, a child can become the head of the family if parents are obsessed with satisfying all his claims. What about your family? Who do you think should be the head?

It ha always been my father. Now that I have my own family, it will be my husband and me.

Technically I am but I run it loosely so my wife is the co pilot I determine the strategic direction, in charge of operations and work out the finance. She just need to be informed and provided the necessary feedback and action to support me

The man theoretically is the head of a traditional family although I am glad to share the power and responsibility with my mother and my wife, even my children, the only thing is I have the veto power

When my parents separated, I lived with my mother, therefore she was the head of the family. Otherwise, it has always been my father. It's usually the one who brings money home, or the most money home, my mother has always been a housewife once she married. I would accept everyone as leader, but I could also be very stubborn.

@MashaVickina I am the head of our household and we do not have family meetings. I have to decide what is best for us and at times it is not easy but have to do the best I can.

My father is the head of my family. I think that a man should always be the head of the family.It is he who should take important decisions in a family.
