A great story that comes from Hillsboro Missouri that starts with Emily Johnson who owns a non-profit business of training dogs to be given free of charge to first responders and military veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disroder as a way of her thanking them for the service. Emily was driving in her vehicle on Sunday on a highway just outside of Hillsboro when she was involved in a rollover accident. Percy, who is a six month old Black Labrador Retriever managed to leave the area of the accident on Sunday morning. Volunteers assisted Emily to look her dog that was training. But no luck until thanks to the power of Facebook, a woman who saw the dog called Emily to inform her that she found Percy in her backyard two miles from the scene of the accident. Percy and Emily were soon reunited until Percy when he finishes his training with Emily will be given to a military veteran or first responder who appreciates the company of a pet dog to overcome their mental stress.

Non profit charities that assist our military and first responders are worthy of our support.

The trainer of the dog when he is finished his training will be sent to military veteran or a first responder for helping them get back in the groove of life.
