Friday Night Tradition

It has been a long lasting Friday night tradition in our family to snuggle up on the sofa, have a home-cooked pizza and watch the Australian soap opera Neighbours! We have been celebrating the end of the week this way since about 2011 and we feel that, even with all the recent changes to our lifestyle and diet, we can't give up the tradition that has lingered for so long! As we are snuggled and watching the last of the weekly episodes, it got me wondering what weekly traditions other people might have....

What will you do once the soap opera ends? Or will it never end? :-)

Well, it's been going for 30 years. . . The hubby grew up with it! :D So it feels unlikely to end - it's one of those. . . . :)

@Knypse This reminds me of a radio show on BBC 4 which has been running since the beginning of time. I can't remember the title as I've only seen it in the BBC programme list but never listened to it. I'm sure you know what I mean.

@MALUSE Hubby says it could be "The Archers" :D Hahaha - "since the beginning of time!" - well put and definitely describes Neighbours well...

You are lucky to get Neighbours in the UK. It's not shown in the US.

Oh that's a shame! There are plenty of great American shows though, and I'm sure we don't get all of those here either!!! :D Always looking on the bright side!

We enjoy a free day any time we work because I and my husband do not have a fixed time and do not have to go to the office.

I don't go out on Friday nights either. I like watching the TV on Friday nights and chilling out.
