A senior citizen is being a hero for assisting the police in catching up with an 18 year old male who was armed with a gun last month. The name of the senior citizen is not being released to protect him for being attacked by his enemies. The incident happened in Columbus Ohio when the senior citizen was walking out of a library when he heard sirens. Then he saw a teenager running in his direction, the senior citizen then tripped the teenager by raising one of his legs which caused the teen to fall to the ground where the Columbus policemen arrested him. The reason that the senior citizen is called a hero is that if he had not tripped the teen, the teen had a loaded gun that could have used in a shootout with law enforcement officers. Maybe the senior citizen has heard of the story of how Peter Parker when he was in a sports arena failed to assist the police in stopping a robber who ran past the masked super hero. Spider Man's failure to stop the robber ended losing his Uncle Ben Parker who was rubbed out by the same robber at the sports arena.

Sometimes a normal thing like raising a leg makes all the difference.

Bill was brave tripping up a potential criminal who could have done some serious damage to other citizens if he had not been stopped.

That is true since if the robber cannot run, then the police have a great chance of catching the robber.

I did see the video. Grandfather reminds of the character that was voiced by Tim Conway on Wordgirl. His name on the cartoon was Bampy Botsford who is the father of Tim Botsford.
