My son-in-law is in the landscaping business and told me he had a bunch of curly willows. Would I like to have them- they are just curly willow branches but are decorative. They sounded different and I have seen some branches like them and liked the look, so I said yes. Now, I stuck them in a pot I have but now I'm not sure what to do with them. You see them with two birch branches I had at Christmas but also wasn't sure how best to showcase them. I think I will put them in a bigger pot and put them in the corner of the terrace. Any thoughts? I do like them but really don't know what the heck to do with them. They have a certain character, don't you think? There is no soil in the container. Image is too big so is sideways??

Add some led lights, they will make a nice night light decoration. Look at the photo attached.

@MarymargII Those are with a battery, the battery sits in the bottom of the vase.

Hey that does look great! And I do have those lights left over from Christmas time. Are those with a battery or plugged in?

They do have a beauty about them. Maybe you could decorate them for the holidays.

I've seen curly branches like that with little lights strung through them. They look so pretty when lit I see that @LadyDuck already mentioned this and added a picture

This is how I like those curly branches more, lighted with small led lights.

They are very pretty. I would put them together in one tall clear glass vase and use them as a accent piece in a corner or next to a console table.

Great idea- I will look for a tall, narrow vase. I like them on the patio too--- may put them in the corner if I get the right vase or cylinder.

Why is this different from any other plant that adds to the beauty of a garden. A bit confused

They are branches cut off a live curly willow and are decorative in themselves- I'm just not so sure what to do with them now that I have them. haha!

They look nice together. Our daughter-in-law is into decorating using that kind of stuff, but I'm not, so I don't know what to suggest to you.

And apparerently they're just like twigs and don't die or anything. so I'll have to try some things.

It's decorative, and yes, full of character. I think it would look good in any corner, or on your terrace.
