Today my husband and I celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. That makes me sound and feel old, but I really don't know where the time has gone! I may not still be the young thing I was back then, but I still have plenty of life in me. We're going out to dinner tonight, with our son tagging along as well. It's not often all three of us go out as a family these days. When we got married in 1971 I don't think either of us could have imagined this far ahead in time. But here we are, still enjoying life together. They say time flies when you're having fun.

Congratulations on 47 years together as man and wife. That's quite an accomplishment these days when the deck seems stacked against a long and loving marriage. Hoping you will be able to enjoy many more happy years together.

@valmnz I came into terms with myself regarding that. And I believe it is much better that eay than staying together just for the sake of saying that you are together.
