@oindo_edu Why should people not tired of doing so? If there was no charity / hand outs in society that people relied on, all the needy people would either A) Do better for themselves and earn enough to do well, or B) dissapear and stop pestering those who are doing ok for themselves.

Nope I have not met any..I just find it sad to see a needy person suffering yet others have more than enough to help the need

There are a lot of the so called needy people are actually slacking and awaiting for help instead of trying their best to live their life. The rich tend to donate to those that are truly needy and hence those undeserving ones will think that the rich are not helping them

One reason is because people who have become economically wealthy have earned their money through hard work, wise investments and an awful lot of effort then when they see people who have opportunities to change through hard work and smart thinking, throwing money at them is not going to help them to stop being needy.
Best way to success is by achieving for yourself and not relying on other people.

@oindo_edu Why can't they pay their bills? Hospitals are free, medication is free. If they are in hospital they should have saved at least a months rent / bill money to cover this eventuality. Why should I pay someones rent due to their inability to open a savings account?

What about the sick in hospitals who can't afford to pay their bills. Shouldn't they be helped?

We must help the needy, we should give them alms and food,it is true that there will be always be people in need,and we cannot help all of them every time. People also don't trust others now days so they backoff.

These financially stabeld people migjt have sufficient money but they might also be facing difficult problems of their own. People in need should not only be help witj money but moreso with livelihood. If they help the needy people now, what will happen tomorrow when there is no one to give or provide.

Not all rich people are like that. You may not know it but these guys have also been abused by so called needy people.
