2018 Spoiler Alerts Really enjoyed this. I like the fact that all the characters get a fair amount of screen time anddialogue. Previous movies with big ensemble casts have reduced everyone to fleeting cameos, as with X-Men 3. Thanos is such a great character, evil and mad but also rather tragic too. The action and comedy work really well. Funniest moment being Rocket trying to buy Bucky’s arm in mid-battle. The finale and overall death toll are startling, though I expect the second half will bring about multiple resurrections. Strange’s line that there is only one battle in which Thanos loses out of millions suggests that is what Strange has set in motion. There are a few notable absences, Ant Man (referred to but unseen) and Hawkeye. One disappointment was limited use of Hulk, especially as he is seen in the trailers engaging in the battle for Wakanda (like the land battle in Phantom Menace would have been without Jar-Jar). Of the undoubtedly temporary departures, Parker / Spiderman’s is the saddest for his fear of going, reminding us that he is still just a teenage kid. I did like his spider-arm extensions. Peter Dinklage’s cameo is great, though it was sad not to see Korg again, presumably among those killed when Thanos first hit the Asgardian ship. Great roles for the Guardians Of The Galaxy team overall, especially Gamora who is so central to events. I would have liked to have seen what Strange and Scarlet Witch would make of each other but I expect that will wait for the next instalment if they return, which seems pretty well inevitable. Finally, you watched it. I was also shocked when I saw Peter Dinklage kind of funny when he let him be a giant man.

So this is better than the last Avengers which was terrible to the point you could tell the actors were choking on their bad dialogue.

I loved this movie. It was really fun to watch. It was sad at times and a little harder to watch with the kids, but we got through it okay!

Hi Arthur. I like the movie too. Thanos really has a soft side, just overpowered by ambition. It is exciting too for the most part.
