Last night, I made a friend request to my niece who is in UAE. I was tagging a video that I took about bathing their dog, Sydney, and I cannot find her in my friend’s list.
She is RL, the youngest daughter of my kid brother. When she accepted my request, I was able to tag her and I am able to check on her shared posts.
If you are my friend on Facebook, you will notice her name in that video that I did yesterday. The tags of the names known to me are printed blue, while her name was printed in black.
Do you always friend-request when you want to be connected to a person who catches your attention?

Yes, I do po. But only those who I have known for quite sometime and are really nice to me.

yes, i believe it is nice to connect to people who show an honest friendship to us. also when we want to know something about the person, approving if his/her request may be the better option.

I seldom do that. They are the one doing the request. I only do the request when they told me they want to be friends coz they can't search for my name. If you say you can't tag your niece you can check your friend's list, she might deactivated her account or she unfriended you which i think very unlikely. That is what's happening to younger generations. they can play with their account.

no, she did not deactivate her account or unfriended me, or block me. i think it is my fault because i am on FB even though i am sleepy. maybe i unintentionally unfriended her while i was dozing off.
but no worries now, she is my friend on FB

If I do not know anyone then I am not sure I want to accept their friend request. I have accepted some and when it came to their birthdays I cannot remember who they are.
