This may be a bit of a long one. Just a fair warning. I woke up from a dream this morning at 5:30 AM. It was more of a terror, though I wouldn't quite call it a nightmare. In the dream I was walking down the hall from my room when I saw a man standing in the second master bedroom. He was in front of the closet there, and when I turned my head to the left, I saw two other men trying to gain access to the house. When I woke up, I went to use the bathroom and then walked through the house, I was home alone. Needless to say it took me a few minutes longer than usual before I could find sleep again. I took the screens off of one of my fans today to clean. That's pretty much the highlight of my day. It's been a rainy, sometimes stormy day today. I've loved the overcast weather, and can expect more of it the rest of this week and into next (I believe). As long as it keeps us in cooler temps, I'll be happy. I heard about that crazy laurel vs ____ I can't remember what the other word is. I've heard it twice today, and each time it was a different word I heard. Honestly I think it's just different videos that people are listening to, and if not, then I don't get the point of it either way. Ah, I got offered a job the other day. It was for a mexican restaurant. I declined for two reasons. One is that I don't want to work as a waitress again, and the other is that I've heard that latino bosses can be strict. I know you can't always believe everything you've heard, but well, that's that. What did you get up to today?

That was a scary dream. I also have trouble getting back to sleep after a bad dream. When I woke up and got moving I found that the cable company was having problems and I had no landline, internet or TV. I didn't mind not having a TV, but I like having the phone, and I had planned to catch up on work I didn't finish yesterday on the Internet. The damage wasn't fixed until almost 3 pm, so I washed clothes and did the dishes as I waiting. For some reason that little bit of work left me exhausted.

I've got to be able to do things in spurts. Grab a load of my laundry and put it in the washer, then come back and work online while reading a book intermittently. Scrub the toilet and sink, then spray the shower down and let it soak in before I come back to spray it down. I'm not saying I am reliant on the internet, but I definitely want to have time to download a book or two for back up in case of power outages. I hate when they sneak up on you. Maybe you were exhausted because you aren't used to doing those things that time of day? If your used to getting up, eating breakfast and then getting online before starting chores, it might be that.; That's how I do things.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It also might be that I used muscles I haven't used in a long time trying to cut tall weeds down with scissors the night before and those muscles are very sore today and trying to heal.

@bagarad That could be it, too. I hate sore muscles, but I love the sleep that hard work affords me.

I haven't yet listened to that name thing, but I will do, at some point. I expect it's all to do with environment and whatnot. It's just another reason why eye-witness accounts shoukd never be used as irrefutable evidence; we all see and hear differently.

It's like that dress, blue vs brown from last year. It might not have been blue vs brown, I can't recall. I think the news said something about the low frequency making everyone's ears hear it differently.

I went to the doctor, mowed grass and worked in the garden.

We have the neighbor mow our grass. He tends to get it done before the neighbor on the other side of us gets to theirs. I'm no good with gardening, but I thought about getting some more artificial flowers and cleaning the porch off for outdoor sitting again.
