Haunted Hotels

One of my favorite things to hear and read about is haunted hotels. So I decided to come on here and find out how many of you have had an experience with a haunted hotel! I stayed at a hotel once, that was in Sierra Vista. I felt very welcomed and happy there. However, I did wake up in the middle of the night to a ghostly face looking at me. It was just a smoke type of ghost. She looked friendly and happy. I felt like she was telling me that is where I needed to be. We were moving to Sierra Vista for my ex-husband's job. I wanted a sign and I got it. We moved there and it was some of the best years of my life. I am sure I didn't really see anything and it was something that was in my dream that I saw as I was waking up. It's still fun and spooky to think about. So what about all of you? Have you stayed in a Haunted Hotel? What was your experience?

When I was little, we visited friends for summer vacation at on old creepy lake house. My brother and I had a beautiful guest room overlooking the lake off in the distance. After we unpacked our stuff, I saw a reflection in the window of some rope and buoys, but I couldn't figure out where the reflection was coming from. I looked all over the place and had no luck finding the rope or the buoys. That night, I slept like a baby, but my brother didn't do so well. When we woke up in the morning, he told me that there was a little girl in our room. When we went down to breakfast, my brother told the caretaker what he saw. The caretaker turned white as a ghost. He then told us that the family that originally owned the house had a little girl who drowned in the lake. She was playing in the water with rope and buoys and got tangled up in them and drowned. Needless to say, I turned white as a ghost when he said that, and I told him what I had seen in the reflection of the window the day before. It was quite creepy, but somehow I didn't feel to0 threatened or scared. And it was only that first night we were there. There were no other incidences the rest of the week we were visiting.

I've seen ghosts, not in a hotel but in other places.

There area a couple of haunted hotels here in the Philippines but I haven't had a chance to stay at any. I doubt I will but perhaps if it was free, I'd go.

In fact , I have hardly ever seen a ghost since I was a child. But since I was a child, I thought ghosts were a terrible thing. I hear very young children can see ghosts, but I don't know if it's true.

I haven't stayed in a haunted hotel that I am aware of but that would be cool. I love anything that has to do with ghosts and the paranormal. I watch everything there is and read about them as much as I can. I would love to be a ghost hunter.
