Do you like credit cards? / myLot

I have four credit cards from the past. I don't have any balances on them. I began an Amex charge card and that isn't like carrying debt. I can pay back any money the next month. I am wanting to get air points to buy a flight you see. I think credit cards can be very dangerous if they lead a person into heavy debt. Dave Ramsey says do not use credit cards even for getting points. What do you think?

no. I don't have credit card .. I only have debit cards..

This is more sensible. I am keen to travel and I can spend a cheaper price with a credit card than paying with a debit card and getting a fee.

I have one credit card and I use it but pay it in full each month. I want the points to fly and a credit card is important when you are abroad.

It is excellent that you pay it off each month. How many points do you need? I need around 22,000 for my flight and I must pay for my children. Otherwise I would need more than 60,000 points.

@maximax8 In my Bank, they give my dollars that I can use at their travel agency for a ticket. I already have around US 900, enough for one plane fare.

I like credit cards since I can return the money one month later. I will not buy something that I can't afford. I will always return all of the money on the last day so I don't have to pay extra. I have been doing so for years. And I can get a little interest from my bank in a month.
