Yes I know the photo is of Grace Kelly another American that married a Prince many yrs. ago. it was the one free one I liked to copy from pixabay.
I am watching on television the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (spelling?) hope I spelled it right.
What a handsome man he is and hear that he is very kind and so is his beautiful bride. It is quite exciting.

it was beautiful. it made my day better. which is why i think they shared it with the world. something good to see and think on instead of sadness

she did not have brides maids. she did have children from their families following with her veil train behind. there were so many stars and royals present dressed in beautiful clothes and the hats were something else!

@bunnybon7 Sometimes it was not the guy who broke up the marriage unfortunately. We can only hope for the best to this youngest son of Diana (She had only two sons, right?).

I watched the whole Royal Wedding till the part they reviewed. I turned off the TV at 3AM HI time. They looked so happy and I am so happy for them wishing them all the happiness forever!

I didn't. I wouldn't wake up at 4am for my own wedding. I understand it isn't that early for everyone who wanted to watch, but I passed. I'm just not into weddings. Although, I think they make an absolutely adorable couple. And, it kind of makes me happy to see they not only welcomed an American into the family, but someone who is part African American as well.
I hope Meghan Markle lives longer than Grace Kelly. That's sad.

oh of course. but that was the only free photo i found in search in that subject. i did not get up at 4 am in fact i saw it on Hulu and it was 11 am there. so much later here. i usually don't watch such things myself but since it was such an historical and special different kind of event i looked at it for a while and couldn't stop. it was exciting and all kinds of our celebrities were there too

i only got to watch up to the alter and everyone that was coming etc. Hulu had that but no second half. but i am happy with seeing all but the ceremony itself.

It was hard to avoid over here as it was on multiple tv and radio channels. At least the weather was kind to them, and I could go sit in the garden for some of it.
Apparently the American preacher stole headlines, ranting on for ages about nothing to do with the wedding.

Grace Kelly was the first Princess that I loved .. She was so beautiful! .. I didn't realise how petite she was .. We went to see the Grace Kelly Exhibit here in Victoria a few years ago and saw all the beautiful dresses she wore when she was younger ...
