I Lost Weight Because of a Plate!

2 weeks ago, I went into the city with friends. I just wanted to get out of my office for a while. For quite a while, I had been reading about women losing weight while using portion plates. I could never find such plates in stores and did not deem myself worthy of buying on-line. Well, in the city, we stopped at a Habitat For Humanity thrift store. "Something" told me to head for the kitchen section. There they were...2 portion plates under $2.00! I was so excited! I bought both! Recently, my roommate had asked me to help her lose weight. So, I gave her one of the plates. Now let me mention, I have been on a plateau for over a year. My weight would not budge. Both plates have a 1 cup serving section for fruit, a 1 cup serving section for vegetables and a 1 1/2 cup section for the main dish. My roommate has lost 10 pounds! I have lost 8 pounds! The photo of my plate actually looks larger than it really is. But, I am telling you...it works! I would have lost weight sooner if I had ordered such plate on-line. If you want to lose weight, buy a portion plate on-line! You are worth it! Don't be stubborn like I was! I think God and Santa were in cahoots when I found the plates at the thrift store!
