I saw this quote today on a friend's page. She lost a friend today to cancer. The quote made me think of my beautiful son, Nolan. His beautiful face, his beautiful, heart, his beautiful soul. If there is a Heaven, he made it more beautiful. I wish I felt more certain about the existence of Heaven.... It would make this journey as a grieving mother a little easier.

I can not even begin to imagine how difficult it is to lose a child. I am so sorry for your loss.

thanks it is very hard, even after 5.5 years. in some way, more difficult because it feels like a lifetime since I was able to see him, talk to him, give him a kiss goodnight

@jillybean1222 I think I would have a hard time with it if I were in y our situation as well. As I have read your posts over the years on here and *B* I always think to myself that you must be one of the strongest women out there. You seem to have amazing strength.

it really is hard to imagine only because i remember when a friend lost a child about 3 months before i lost Nolan. i remember my thoughts about it from the time, mostly because it was so close to when i lost nolan.
