Progress on my Goodreads reading challenge for 2018

I finished the two books I took out from the library: Song of a Captive Bird by Jasmin Darznik and The X-Files Origins: Agent of Chaos (about Fox Mulder) by Kami Garcia. It took me less than two weeks to read them. This brings my reading challenge to 12 books read so far this year out of the 50 goal I set. If it keeps taking me very little time to finish each book I read, I just might reach my reading goal by the end of the year. I am going to the library today to return the books, so I will get something else to read. I hope The X-Files Origins: Devil's Advocate (about Dana Scully) by Jonathan Mayberry will be there, as I want to read it right after finishing the one about Fox Mulder. And maybe I will pick up another book, though not sure what it will be. I guess I will find that out once I browse through the shelves. I really want to read The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare but I want to buy this book, as I have all the other books by this author in my collection. I think I will wait until The Queen of Air and Darkness, the third and last book of The Dark Artifices series comes out to get it, so I can get them together and save on shipping. The downside is that I will have to wait until December 2018 to get it, as the third book doesn't come out until then.
