I was cleaning up my house for the visit of my aunt tomorrow when Claudia rang the bell. She told me that she had an argument to talk over with her husband. She was taking the kids over so they did not hear anything. You can give them anything for dinner, she said. You can cook rice and fry some eggs. No comments, I thought, but did not say it aloud. The children were very nice, besides messing up all the tidy living room. Fortunately I had enough lasagna for both although I had to cook something for me. Tomorrow, between Leticia and I, we will have to tidy up everything, including the kitchen. When they went away, I only wanted to get into my bed. I will check a nice way to cook the chicken for my aunt and will serve it either with rice or with mashed potatoes. My baby daughter is over 52 years old, but she is still a baby once in a while. At least, she cleaned up Luna´s poo before leaving.

I´m sure she will. I had an awesome marriage but could not say we never had an argument.

@marguicha of course, they happen to us all. But it's still sad to hear.

I love that picture on your title. Reminds me of my two grandsons, now they are 6 ft 3 and 6ft 4. They grew up so fast.

I am the same way with my mom. Never too old to be a daughter.

Arguments happen and it:s best that kids won:t hear of it.

Sound's like some of them unplanned days that I have! She is 52 and how old are her children? I hope everything goes ok with the visit with your aunt.
