This is what I want to tell some people on mylot, both newbies and not so newbies. At least once a day, sometimes three or four times a day, I am reading a (discussion??) on mylot which asks the majority for suggestions on how to make money online. (??)
Members are offering their suggestions and the discussion author is asking them to tell him/her what it is all about, how much they pay, how much can be made in a day...etc
Do Your Own Research!!
I always google something if I am not sure. If I'm still not sure after reading their "About" page, I'll read some reviews. If I dont like the sound of the reviews, I wont try the site. If after doing some research I still can't find the answer I'm looking for, THEN I pose the question to the wonderful people on Mylot.
In order to make money in ANY job, off or online, you must put in the EFFORT and the TIME, coupled with a PASSION to make money. Do your own research. I/We are not your babysitter.

i'll give mylot as an example.
mylot can be viewed even if you're not a member. you can read the posts, check profiles, you can read the guidelines and faq. you can even use the search function.
the only thing a non-member (and members who are not logged in) cannot do is like, respond, comment, submit a post, report, send private messages.
so i don't understand why the first post of a new member is "what do i do here? does this pay?"
they don't have to rely on second/third-hand information (outdated blogs, review sites, social media) when they can observe closely what goes on in this site every day, for as many days as they want to.

Yes, very well stated.. I do the same way as yours when I want to know something, I will do my own research..
