I cannot believe that I cannot get to my email. Why can't I open my email? Because I had to change my password last week and I absolutely, no way, remember my password.
I wrote it down and put it in a safe place. It's so safe even I can't find it. I have tried to get it from gmail but have run into a problem. They keep not accepting my information.
I don't want to say I am frustrated but good grief I am about to boil over. I now there is a simple solution but my mind is so crazy now tha6i can't think.
It seems to me that I should stop, get off my computer, and try again later when I am not so annoyed.
Do you ever do this? Forget or lose an important password like this?

Yes I have done it before. I think it is a good idea to just walk away and then try it again later. It may come to you when you aren't stressing about it.

That has happened so many times, I can't even begin to count. I write every one down now and keep it in a very special place that I won't forget. I even have to bring them to Florida when we go. I hope it suddenly hits you where you hid it!

@DianneN I found it this morning. I cannot b4elieve I found it. It was in the drawer of my nightstand. I swear I check in there and it wasn't there but I must have missed somehow. Unless someone is trying to drive me crazy lie in the old move Gaslight.

@arthurchappell I am happy to say that I can now get into my email. It seemed like forever since I have been there.

You sure you aren't me? I remember the afternoon I could not remember the password for my computer. Luckily we had a roommate at the time. She used her smart phone to text my phone the info needed to get me a new password. Now that she is gone and with her, that smart phone, I am up a creek if I do that stunt again.

I am sorry to hear that and I can totally understand your feeling. I hope you can get back your password. Can't you answer the secret questions and then reset the password? Is it possible that you put your password inside your safe or keep it in your phone? Did you ever mention the password to someone else? I hope you can get it back.

I am trying to find or remember it. I did answer the secret question but they want to text me or send a number to my email. They can't text me because there is no where for me to tell them my new number. The4y can't email me because I only have one email and I can't get into it.

Maybe if you step away and think about something else you'll remember where you wrote it down. I have to keep all mine in a safe place and have to refer to them often since I'm so forgetful.

yeah I used to remember my passwords, but now I hardly can. So I finally got the free version of Last Pass and it has been helpful.

Oh I've definitely forgot passwords. Thankfully I have important ones written down and placed in my dvd/bluray bag.
Hope you can get this all fixed.

@HazySue He has been doing that himself for years for everything he requires a password for. I was a bit stubborn about doing the same but it has proved to be useful.

Yes, I have been in that situation. The more I try while frustrated the worse it get. Slow down and try to concentrate.
