Yes the flowers are blooming all over town and in our garden for sure. They are beautiful, of course.
Buuuuttt...I went out earlier for a walk and then again to help Anne with watering the hanging baskets and plants in pots. When I came in, I began sneezing and, since noon, probably sneezed a hundred times, but who's counting?
The grass pollen is off the charts this week and that is what gets me, despite the non-sleepy allergy pill I take and the nasal spray I use to ward off sneezes.
But, I still love this time of year and we have plenty of tissues on hand, so I will stay inside the rest of the day.
Here is a photo from the garden that Anne plants (I dig holes).

@JamesHxstatic Yes, it is a very unusual amount of rain. Usually May is one of the driest month.

Is that an unusual amount of rain? We have none predicted for the next ten days.

@JamesHxstatic Do your eyes close down? Or you all have sneezing? Exactly what is pollen allergy? Let me check the net.

It is no fun as it happens is it? I have calmed down a bit now that I am inside.

The pollen has been pretty bad lately. I have been sneezing quite a bit!!! I have been working in the yard so that is when it really affects me most.

Thats a beautiful garden, I love the flowers she chose, good job with those holes. I too have allergies with this season and with most of the rest. I don't mind not going out in it as I can't handle the mugginess but today I had to do yard work as well

I mowed the grass a few days ago and was not affected, but the pollen count must have soared.

It sure is. I had allergies when I lived in California and here as well. This is starting out to be a sneezeful spring.

Benadryl knocks me out though, all antihistamines do, so I take the non-sleepy kind. I have not heard of those sites, but will check them out.
