My child is very sweet to me

deep fried chicken

My mom always makes wonderful deep fried chicken. Last night it was one of the dishes for our dinner. Finally there was one deep fried chicken left in the plate. Although I liked it but I still preferred to leave it to my child. I just kept on having my dinner. My son noticed the last deep fried chicken and then he asked me to bring it to the office as lunch next day. You could imagine how happy I heard that as he was very considerate and sweet to me Perhaps many parents may just reply thanks and still let the child take the last deep fried chicken in such kind of case. I am different as I heard it is better to accept to it. Then the children will learn the appreciation and won't be so selfish. So I put it into my lunch box happily

@vandana7 This is true. Perhaps we love the children more than they love us

When parents do something special, it gets taken for granted. When kids do something special it gets registered. LOL

@vandana7 It makes sense. Such as it seems my son is often bullied by others but he has never bullied others. This is not because he is not tall or strong. He is just not that kind of person.

Some kids are born with it. Others simply do not have that quality. Yet others are thoughtful because they realize the need to be based on their experiences and the last variety is thoughtful to get appreciation of others. I think this kid was born with it.

In fact today most children live better than before. It is necessary for them to learn how to share with others.

Your child is sweet because you raised him up well. You showed your unselfishness and thinking of him first before yourself. He noticed that, so much so that he is now imitating you. You are a good role model to him.

You did the right thing. Whenever your kid offer you something it is best to accept it so that they will know that their offer had been accepted.

I would have split the fish in two, to show to my son how I appreciated, but also to offer him something in sign of my appreciation.

Wow! That is nice to hear! Undoubtedly you have a very nice and understanding child and the credit goes to you, As you are not only caring and considerate but you are a strict mentor of your child. I appreciate your idea of keeping the piece of chicken in your lunch box and given him a message of appreciation that he was not a selfish! I am sure he must have definitely registed in his mind for ever! God bless you all! Thanks!

Your child is so sweet and you, too. I am sure your son was so happy when you took it. You know, my mom most of the time refuses to take gifts or anything from us. And honestly, I feel bad whenever she does that. With what you did, you are teaching your child to be more giving.
