He is pushing to hard

I can understand that if you are in bad health you cant do as much as you once could do and I'm pretty sure that would drive a person nuts. My husband has been in bad shape for some time now and he has his days where he is worse than other days, but still he wants to go, so here lately I have been telling him to take it easy and that he needs to slow down but I think that it is getting to him so I just keep an eye on him and will make sure that he is ok, just sometimes he needs to listen to me because I know just by looking at him that he has pushed himself too far.

So sorry to hear that. I know it is hard to take it easy when you are so independent. He does need to listen to you though.

Thanks, and yes he does but there are days where I don't let him do anything at all.

@Happy2BeMe they want to put a heart monitor under his skin so they can watch him at all times and then they will go from there.

He will have to understand that a time comes when all of us will have to slow down.He is lucky to have a caring wife around him.

@hillhjill - tell him its like eating a pie, would you savor it more in pieces through out the week ? or as a whole in one day? stretch it out, enjoy what you got.

The fight for survival is a very strong in a lot of people. Even for me, I am of the mind that I won't go down without a fight....for better or for worse.

Yes that is very true, I cant understand but there have been two times where we had to rush him to the hospital because of his heart and I just don't feel like doing that again any time soon.
