A young monk and an old monk was traveling and they reached a river bank with a young maiden wanted to cross but did not want to get her shoes wet. The old monk volunteered to piggyback the young maiden across the other side of the bank. The young monk was unhappy about the old monk piggybacking the maiden and finally exploded two hours after the river crossing about the old monk’s act. The old monk smiled and said, why are you still piggy backing the maiden when I had already let go two hours ago.” Sometimes we may be unhappy about something that a person does. But the person already moved on after the action, why do we still want to torture ourselves by still harping over others actions.

Yes in here the little monk carried the lady on his mind for too long unlike the old monk.
