So the girl booked 20 days off and suppose to be back tomorrow Guess who calls in sick and asks me to cover. I said no since I'm working 9 days straight. I go she had 20 days off and still can't even show up for her shifts. So manager can work for her not my problem. I have made plans for every weekend in June now.

Your co-worker is way too selfish. She cannot seem to be contented and so much inconsiderate.

@ricki_911 Thank you, Ricki. I know that feeling when you do not want to go to work and just force yourself.

@mlgen1037 yes, that was me. It's the fact she does nothing then tries to turn it on you. I just wish she would leave.

It is not fair for you to cover for her. You just worked 9 days straight, while she's just had 20 days off. You were right to say no.

It's just getting annoying now. Especially when I'm working 9 days straight and she then oh I'm sick and can't work.

They should get rid of her since she always calls in sick.

We have people like that. When we finally manage to get rid of them the director begs them to come back part time because they don’t want to dish out the money to train new people. But in the end all it does it put a strain on the whole place because those people continue to be unreliable. So we still end up needing to find coverage to fill their spot.
