Whodunnit? Can you name that song and artist? By thinking of girl's names which begin with an "R" it just might put you on "track" to name that tune. But before we start, here is a video number by the Four Seasons released in 1964, and reaching # 6 on the Hot 100 Billboard charts. I've never met a girl named "Ronnie," but the way these guys sing about her, she must be one special lady. Enjoy the track!!! Now for our musical trivia quiz: 1. This singer's 50's hit was covered by The Jackson Five over a decade later and hit #1 on the R&B charts our Motown 5. The upbeat rockin R&B pop song was an especially great fit for the band's youthful and innocent lead singer Michael Jackson. In 1957 this artist formed his own band called the Satellites, the group recording three hits which are rock n' roll classics today. Although the song's title could be identified with a girl, the tune was actually about a bird. This singer also wrote "Over and Over" which was a big 1965 hit for the Dave Clark Five. 2. Although this popular hit has a female name in the title the song is a reference to a bottle of wine. This 1970 release was the artist's first song to top the American charts at # 1. It also was his highest charting tune in the UK. The whole song is about Canadian lumberjacks getting drunk and talking about women. If you had no date on Saturday night your woman was that bottle of wine! Or in this case a store bought woman. This artist could be considered one of the most famous Jewish musicians of all time. 3. This track was written by the female member of this famous 1970's rock group. The song title is actually the name of a Welsh goddess. This song was a huge influence on the image of this singer, inspiring her flowing shawls and black outfits she began wearing on stage. The song was released on the band's self titled album in 1975 which reached # 1. The group followed that LP up with another smash record, "Rumors" in 1977, which remained # 1 on the charts for 31 weeks. Some sample lyrics should provide the name of this mystery witch: She rings like a bell through the night and Wouldn't you love to love her? She rules her life like a bird in flight and Who will be her lover? R................. Do you know the names of the songs and artists? Good luck and use those clues! If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. Glad to throw a few more hints your way and aid "your search of that lost chord" or in this case tune. Enjoy the continuing series, comment, check out the trivia answers and see if their your favorites too. And as always, thanks for reading my music post!!! @just4him Bobby Day was a late 50's artist. Neil Diamond is a concert I would of enjoyed seeing. The more I listen to his music the more I appreciate his songwriting ability. Here is the song from # 1. Maybe you might recognize it- Michael Jackson also did a version.

I see the R and think of Steve Lukather! Oh well, maybe volume two. As for Stevie and her gang, I remember ol’ Casey Kasem saying that the F.M. album took over a year after its release to hit #1, which was a record then. Theycoming to Louisville, but after firing Lindsey they’re just Fleetwood Meh.

You may be on to something about volume 2? That band had a super lineup and some great tunes! Sorry about "Holding That Line" back a bit till later. How many guitarists will they have to hire to play Lindsey's intricate guitar work this time? And the tunes he contributed? Is Stevie going to sing them? Those Buckingham contributions are a big part of Mac's catalogue.
