First things first. Indian food is not prepared in a bread making machine. Those look like Naan to me which are prepared in a 'Tandoor'
If you found them tasty then that is all that matters.

@youless It is not a pancake. Pan cakes are thin and fried on a flat pan where some oil is applied

@hereandthere I have not made bread in ages but I do like it for the dough. You get a nice dough without adding tons of flour in for kneading.

I have no way of knowing if that is the way the Indian food should look or not, but I would try that. It looks very good to me!

It looks good not bad at all. Looks a bit fat. I think it's due to machine. But as long as chicken soup is there I would love to have it. Anyway your experiment is nice, fruitful and fantastic.
