Hats off to directors, producers and actors that turn out war movies that are so absorbing.and interesting One would only expect sadness but from all the several war movies that I have watched they have always surprised me how beautifully they are made. Here are some of the many movies I have watched The Guns of Navarone, Schindler's List,The Great Escape,Where Eagles Dare, Battle of the Bulge Which movie moved you the most.

There are many awesome and classic war movies. I have seen again The Dirty Dozen and it hasn´t aged a bit. The Bridge over the River Kwai has aged some, but it is still interesting.

I had watched all that but just to add, Saving private Ryan, Battle of the Bulge, Apocalypse Now, Platoon, Tora Tora Tora, etc...and that movie where Heydrich was assasinated, I forgot the title, so many good ones if you include ancient ones or those pre -WWI

Those are all great movies, but Schindler's List is one of my favorites. I also loved Churchill and Dunkirk, more recent war movies.
