Good Sunday morning from this side of the world, how is everyone? I and my sister did not go to church this morning because it is already hot so we decided to attend mass this afternoon at 6pm; hopefully it won't be so hot anymore. I am seated in front of the television and watching basketball between the Rockets and the Warriors. At the same time I am checking the mobile phone of my sister that has a drained battery. She said the phone was charged for 24 hours snd still it cannot open and be used. I and my son always tell her maybe the battery is already totally drained and has no more power. She still insists on charging it. I doubt if there is a battery for her phone. It is Sony Experia. The batteries available here are Samsung, Lenovo, Huawei, and other brands. The Sony Experia was given to her by our brother from UK. Do you still charge the battery of your phone even though you know it's already totally drained?

Good morning po. I do not as the battery will drain more (I think). That happened when I had Nokia phone.

@ridingbet Good afternoon po, Ingrid. Your sister will have to wait until November. What phone will she be using?

@mlgen1037 hija, she has more phones than me, and although these are hand-me-downs, still she has more. she has the iPad. when my brother was choosing whom should he give the iPad, she said she wanted that, but only yo play candy crush. when my brother wanted to give me the Samsung, she wanted it and said the iPad is having battery problems. my brother said to her, "ingrid will have my phone because you have the iPad now". she kept quiet.

Maybe she should consider changing the battery. I hate it when my phone has battery issues

my sister went to a cellphone lab here. the technician said that the battery of the phone was costly. my sister said, "yes i know". but when my sister told the technician to open the back of the phone, he does not know how and where. hahaha!

@aureliah actually, that technician was new, according to my sister. when we brought the cell phone in another cell phone repair store in a super mall, the technician already knew the problem and he was able to open the back cover. it was hard to open because there were no dents to lift.

@ridingbet What kind of a technician is that? He does not keep up to date with the market that he is in

@minx267 it is, and if you don't ask for replacement and ask the money back, the return will arrive after 2 weeks.

Some old models of IPhones have that problem, the batteries gone bad after a year or so. By then, however you charge, it wouldn't work.

I really haven't experienced a drained battery. If it doesn't charge anymore the charging port may have a problem.
