I went on a treasure hunt

I missed that announcement about banks going on strike for two full days. My cash flow in the house had reached bottom. We have cash transactions on a daily basis. I went a hunting and dug into every source in the house - cupboards, bags, purses the works and managed to collect some cash that helped me tide over emergencies. How could I not buy biscuits for our pet and that was sure an emergency. Moral of the story. Always have money tucked in in every nook and corner.

I normally withdraw middle of the month but since I had some cash remaining I postponed it.

@allknowing I think,it would be a good habit to hide some money here and there in our home.

Apparently you are among the top percentile of citizens (as regards wealth) if you have spare change floating around. We have money in all sorts of places - mostly coins but occasionally notes.

@JudyEv I found them in my bags and purses and also some on the dining table as that is where I deal with cash when I give it to our maid to buy things.

Could you believe that is my habit and ypu can see invariably some money lying around me all the while as that is my habit to empty my pockets as I enter my place. This habit is known to my helpers too and they also make no mischief with this! I totally forgotten about the Bank strike...thanks for reminding me! ATM bunks are also made on functional I think theyb are run by different agencies than the Banks! Thanks!

Yes, it was an unexpected strike and it will affect the salary for sure. If I don't get salary in time then it will be disastrous.

I wish I was in your house. Just joking, i am sure if you go to our house you will never go empty too. You will find even on the couch paper money . My son plays with it and leave it everywhere.
