Peanut Butter & Lettuce sandwiches....

Earlier today I answered a fellow Mylotter's ( @thesupersingh ) post about Peanut Butter and it reminded me of how I used to take peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches to school. I think about this sometimes and wonder how I even got that idea. The thought of it now makes feel squeamish. It's such a weird combo for a sandwich. I have no idea how or why it became a thing for me. Is there anything you used to eat that you don't now because it seems gross?

This surely is a weird combo, I cannot imagine the taste. I cannot remember anything I used to eat and I stopped growing up.

@VivaLaDani13 You know, if you like you cannot consider it "weird".

@Plethos I've never seen this sauce canned before. I mean like the squeeze bottle sauces. I have a photo attached to show ya. But with cheetos? I've never had that mixture before lol Would you still eat that now?

@silvermist I've never had peanut butter and jam before. For some reason I don't think I would like it. Don't really like jam all that much to be honest.

I've never eaten peanut butter in any form. We used to eat bread and dripping (fat produced when cooking meat) - yuk.

@VivaLaDani13 I remember it as being delicious, we loved it as kids. Hard to describe the taste, but it was just the solidified fat off cooked meat.

@jaboUK Oh yes I know what you mean. I've never eaten that but my Nan has told me often that she used to eat it as her family was really poor when she was little. What does it taste like?

@VivaLaDani13 It doesn't sound like a weird sandwich. I like peanut butter. I have made peanut butter and chocolate spread sandwiches. I do not buy lettuce or I would have that sandwich.

@Hannihar I have heard about peanut butter and chocolate before but never as a spread. I tried a peanut butter and chocolate M&M before but didn't like it.

@VivaLaDani13 Buy a small jar of chocolate spread and try that with peanut butter on a spoon first to see if you like it. I love it.

That's a strange combination, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it. I'm not the biggest fan of peanut butter either way. I don't think I've ever really done these weird combinations.

@maclanis Yeah I don't think you would like it either if you aren't really fond of peanut butter.

I wouldn't mind it. It reminds me of celery and peanut butter, that is a common thing to eat. Both lettuce and celery are pretty much water, so why not haha

I feel it is a weird combination. You can either have only lettuce sandwich or only peanut butter sandwich. I think both together won't taste good.

@rubyriaz007 Yeah it sure was a weird thing to eat. Don't eat that anymore though. I guess at least I USED to like it.

@VivaLaDani13 Well, my dad does since he eats anything as long as it is healthy for him. When he feels like eating it, it would not matter.
