Good high noon on a Saturday my friends, how are you this humid second day of June?
Well, here in my barangay, in our purok (locality), almost all residents are inside their houses. It is because they, and we here at home, are watching the grand finals of a singing competition of a noontime show here.
I have my own bet, plus another one who is from another country but a Filipino. Both are males. I wish them luck.
With this, i have to excuse myself to watch the competition. I will still drop by from time to time; or i will not log out. The site is still on screen as i answer the notifications until sun down.
Another event where almost all Filipinos are ‘everybody home’ is when Manny Pacquiao, our national fist, has a boxing match. Crimes drop tremendously for the day of the match, then the criminals resume their ‘illegal’ activities once the match is finished.

hija, 2 of my bets are in the final three. i like that any of the male contestants win the grand price. the young lady has the same type of songs and there is no variety at all.

@mlgen1037 yes hija. she is young at age 16. she has a husky voice. my bet was the third placer from USA, the bald-headed Steven Paysu. he belted out Barry Manilow's songs in medley. Ato Arman too has a powerful voice. i would be happier if anybody between the 2 won the grand prize

@Jessabuma i wanted Steven or Ato but they landed 3rd and 2nd respectively. not bad. but i noticed Reggie to be sore; he immediately turned his back when the 3 winners were acknowledged.

no, the TNT is new now. the old TNT was already finished, i think, when Novo Bono Jr won. i am not certain about it.

Aw, I missed the show. We spent the day at the mall buying things needed for school next week and at the same time enjoyed the day since everyone will be busy when school starts.
I hope though that your bet won the contest.
