Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky. **Please add the name of your country to your account page.**

Thank you Maluse!! I love learning about the members and their countries! I have loved Germany ever since I found that I was part German on my mother's side of the family. I'm German/Italian (some mixture huh?) Boy when I show my temper watch out. Fortunately through the years I learned to control it...but until I got it under control there was a LOT of broken dishes. I chose dishes because they had a satisfying crash when they broke! I particularly love your posts because they are so interesting, informative and (it sounds odd) comfortable. Thank you again for posting about becoming a new member of the neighborhood!

@MALUSE I found out the hard way that one of the biggest things that people don't plan for when starting their own business is protecting their investment. When you come right down to it, when you start a business or a marketing plan, the biggest amount of the investment comes from your own pocket It's the money to start the business. Whether it's a loan from a financial institution or money out of your own pocket, it's still a huge investment. People fail to plan to cover that investment in case something happens and you lose the money. As in my case, I started the business over 30 years ago and the start-up money came out of my pocket. All the necessary supplies were purchased with money from my wallet and over that period of time the investment kept growing until it was in the tens of thousands of American dollars. Then the fire hit and all that investment was burned to ash. Leaving me with the question of "Do I quit the business?" Or, "Do I start again from scratch and determination...or stubbornness?" I chose the latter, but restarting would be so much easier if I had insured the business. Again, I got long winded, but I felt that a few extra words wouldn't help. If we all pool what we know or learned we can help future entrepreneurs succeed. Off to try to get some bear work done. It's gonna be another hot day and I would like to get a few things finished before it gets really hot. You have a wonderful day (or night) there where you are! Hugs, Toni
