Manual or automatic transmission?

Hello friends. What kind of cars do you prefer? The ones having manual transmission or the ones with automatic transmission?
In my country most car owners have manual transmission cars but there are a few that have automatic transmission too. The idea is that most of my fellow Romanian citizens dislike the idea of automatic transmission cars. How about in your country?

@mlgen1037 I find the manual transmission to be really uncomfortable especially in a crowded city.

I’ve only ever driven a manual car. But from what I hear a manual is a better option. They use less fuel and I feel like it would feel like I was in less control. I have cruise control on my car and that feels like I’m not driving the car.I would imagine an automatic gearbox would be the same.

@sh2ker thing is that i am not used to the automatic because i never drove automatic transmission cars but I do think that it is better. In other words I like the idea of automatic transmission cars.

@Cristi_Ichim I don't know . What I worry about is that technology and the use of robots will leave many without jobs.

@Cristi_Ichim Because some people say manual transmission is more fuel efficient than automatic transmission..
I'm poor and have no car. Haha. 
But I learned to drive with a manual. I don't know how to use an automatic so...

We have manual transmission cars more on roads. Automatic ones are expensive and new in the market
