I am just wore out now. First the therapist came and walked me all around and had me do exercises , then the House calls doctor came that my medical insurance sends out once a year for a wellness check up. She also put me through some hoops, but hey, at least I no longer have to go wait in a doctors office for hours. one thing she asked me to do was fill in an empty circle like a clock. but first she had named 3 things for me to remember. So I drew in the clock (not one I ever had to use) thank goodness but she said it looked pretty good. not sure what the purpose was but like I told her, the kids in school today would have no idea how to draw one much less read it. I remembered 2 of the things she told me and could not remember the last to save me and I DO know what that test was about. but she said not to worry most forget at least one. I forgot to tell her it's not my age cause people used to send me to the store when I was little and about always forgot something. wish I could show you how goofy my clock looked. I am not an artist.

It sounds like all went well and I'm sure forgetting something wasn't a big deal

i think you're right about the clock and kids today. i still prefer seeing and reading the hands.

i don't mind either way but i think some things like that should be taught and handed down just in case they ever need to know. its history after all

I forgot my name once at the eye doctor. The lady asked me my name, and I could not remember. I took me awhile to remember it. So weird. But it happens.

@bunnybon7 No. It has to do with a red pogo stick I had as a kid.

@bunnybon7 I totally agree with you. I feel kids are missing out on a lot of fun things all because of computers and things.

I agree. In this digital age, kids don't know how to read a standard clock. I know my grandson couldn't read it when he was 12. I hope he can now. I'm sure your artwork is about as good as mine. I'm not an artist either by any stretch of the imagination.

@bunnybon7 Interesting question. They probably teach it as a math solution now.

did you try drawing one? can you only read digital clocks or do they still teach you regular clocks in your country?

@bunnybon7 I did try when I was younger. Actually it was to make a regular clock. I even had to help my student make one using magazines and paper plates.

it's okay you forgot one, don't let that bother you. especially if that's nothing new for you. We all tend to forget things here and there, especially when we're told not to, lol.
