Woman's tweet got her husband fired? Do you think this is fair?

Salvator Siino is happy with his career, he is an executive of the Billion dollar company WWE. That is a very high paying job. All of that is taken away from him because his Wife is living a double life. At Home she is a loving wife and mother but online she was A far right republican anti-muslim online protester. She made a lot of hate speech against Arabs and Muslims. She posted a picture of a Pig roasting the Prophet Mohammed into a pit like roasted pork. The company her Husband works for found out her online activity because she is using her real identity on twitter. Her husband got fired. Her husband has nothing to do with her online activity but he was punished for her actions. If this is your spouse, what would you do? Source:

Now that's really unfair. I think the company really took the meaning of marriage as two people becoming one. So whatever the other did, the other is responsible for too. It's kind of scary when we don't really know who we marry.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Didn't say she never crossed the line. I find her even insane. I wonder what'll happen to their marriage.

I know it is unfair that her actions online affected his career. The company they worked for is owned by a republican so the company may have some similar views in some aspects but she crossed the line and went way too far.

It seems rather unfair but I think he probably would have known about his wife's opinions and possibly about her social media accounts too. However, if he did nothing wrong then it's difficult to say that he deserved to be fired.

He have no idea about his wife's online activity at all since he is busy at work. No way he is racist since he is the reason why WWE have lots of Asian and Arab wrestlers now.

@redurnet He now left her but she got custody of the kids because court favors women.

@CaptAlbertWhisker It's possible you are correct but people can have one opinion in private and then do and say what is morally acceptable in public too. If he did not have his own social media accounts or ever see his wife writing terrible things on her page then he should have been given a chance. It must be difficult to be him right now.

The man didn't say these words of hate or support what his wife said. He shouldn't have lost his job because of her horrible comment on Twitter. I hope that the company employs him again and realises their mistake. I think this will be challenging for their marriage.

It makes me wonder if he will stood by her. I mean almost everyone at least have 1 racist family member who attends thanks giving parties and christmas dinners. In his case he is married to one.

If I were her husband I would probably end the relationship. Not 'just' because she ruined his career but because I couldn't date someone who has racist opinions. It wasn't a smart idea to post those things with her real identity, but that wouldn't be the only problem for me. The fact that she has those opinions would be unacceptable to me.

Her dedication to her political beliefs is really overboard. She dont care about the repercussions.

I don't think it was fair for him to be fired because of her actions. I know that employers look at your social media posts, or atleast can, and I suppose they have the right to fire you if your ethics don't match theirs. However, this wasn't even his account. Had it been me in that situation, I would be re-evalutating who I married. I would also fight for my job.

I have criticism of Islam but I won't cross the line of insulting them or saying a hate speech wanting them to be killed. If she loves her husband, she will protect her family and express her political views without crossing the line. her Tweet is really disrespectful and distasteful.

@CaptAlbertWhisker If this presidency has taught me anything, it's that common sense and morals just don't seem to be in good supply. I wish I could say I was shocked that she did this, but I'm not shocked honestly.

@ScribbledAdNauseum This one of the most hostile presidential terms I had seen in my life. It figuratively divided a nation.

That is just unfair or maybe the company tried not to be involve in any political issues. The wife forgot to think about the repercussions of her actions.

She is a bad PR for the company because she have 230 K followers so her name will be attached to her husband who works for the company.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I feel sorry for the husband. That is one stupid and selfish wife. I wonder if they will end in divorce after what happened.

I think this is also a kind of opinion from her. Even if it sounds bad, but I think it is unfair to fire her husband because of this case. He has nothing to do with it.

They could have got her husband suspended and force her to delete her social media accounts.

Not fair but life isn't fair so both husband and wife now need to take responsibility for the wife's actions.

I guess wwe don't want to be associated with this woman and the fact their money feeds her, They dont want the negative attention she can cause. Also wwe wanted to avoid more negative PR because CM Punk won a lawsuit against them.

No one knows whether or not the husband knew of her online activities but since her actions were so despicable I thin they had no choice but to fire him. It is very difficult for me to believe that he did not know what she was up to and if he didn't this will teach him not to be so naïve in future,

She should have think about the consequences of her online activity. I wonder how does he feel about what his wife done. His wife is still active on twitter demanding a genocide.

I don't know. I guess it is very unfair for the company to fire the husband just because of her wife's doing online. I don't think there is a law for this. It is very unjustifiable.

His wife should have used another photo instead if her real photo. Many people got fired already for saying something controversial on twitter with their real identity. Here in Mylot I screamed to the world my boss was a jerk and it didn't harm my career because I am anonymous.
