Pet- A stress buster or Burden?

Its really amazing to see my pet after returning home from hectic work, the unconditional love shown by this lovely creature makes me forget the stress. Having said that, sometimes its really difficult to handle him as I need to take care of him like a small kid, What do u feel about your pet?
