If there is one thing that is wonderful about kids in the summer, it is that some of them try to make money by operating a lemonade stand. However since some of the kids do not have a permit to legally operate a lemonade stand, their business gets shut down by the authorities The team of attorneys working for County Time Lemonade is called Legal Ade since they will pay the fines of any child who operates a lemonade stand without a proper permits up to $300 dollars. Now maybe the jokes of lawyers will settle down a little bit since you do not want to bite the hand that bails your child out of a jam.

I think that it is downright sick of the authorities to ask for permits to sell lemonade. JEEZZZ!!! I remember first Little Lulu selling lemonade in the comics of my childhood. Then my daughter sold lemonade and once my eldest daughter sold fava beans at ridiculous prices because she could get them for free at my parent´s house if she collected them

It bugs me as well that kids cannot have something that will keep them out of trouble like selling lemonade.

@Deepizzaguy Those laws should be abolished. They lack common sense.

Ohh that's so sad, why did they do that? It's a good way of children to earn extra income in summer season.

Some politicians want their people to rely on them to do what is right by working for them instead of staying out of the way.

@Jessabuma I agree with you since it does not work in nations that have that policy.

This shows one of the things that's just plain wrong with American society: politicians threatening kids who are trying to make money to spend on a vacation. Good for Country Time Lemonade!

Rush Limbaugh said that the politicians are punishing kids who wants to accomplish good things.

Is nothing sacred anymore??? Not even the oldfashioned lemonade stand??? Perhaps that is an idea for me when I return to the US. Open a Lemonade Stand business and show them all that it can be done officially just let the kids alone and let them do their own thing.

I agree with you since some laws are stupid just because a child want to make a honest dollar.

That is crazy! They are kids for crying out loud! How does the government/country hope to create inspiring businessmen/women if they treat the inspirants like criminals?! I'm sure that when they are old enough to tackle the adult world they will follow the rules, but for now let them have some fun and make some pocket change on the side!
