Disaster is waiting

So I come into work and manager seems off. But I was in a good mood so I decided to not poke. New girl who was hired back in October messaged me. She had put her notice in as of this weekend (end of june). She was tired of having to cater to the other girl constantly changing schedules , calling in sick and whining. I thanked her for warning me because frankly it will be me working. The casual weekend coverage doesn't want weekends and the other girl will think it's unfair so she will call in sick, be late, and demand only weekends as per she did last time. So I said that not an issue I will work my hours and pay me overtime for the others. I'm not catering and handing the others the shifts because they want more hours, whine and then only work weekdays so then I loose hours for helping they can do without then. Either take the hours they are given or none. The one on weekends im hoping will be gone shortly. She's digging herself in a hole. She goes to each employee and talks about me. Claiming I do nothing, or how she's going to complain about me not doing my job 'insert eye roll'. So we shall see in the upcoming weeks how those two pan out. They both whine But yet don't want the hours.
