Happy Birthday/Independence Day Adie!

Today is my youngest daughter's 7th birthday. It also happened to be the Philippines Independence Day. Everyone is on holiday. It's supposed to be perfect timing for a party if only that typhoon did not show up uninvited.
So instead of having a grand birthday, we have to live with whoever can show up to celebrate with us. She likes unicorn and ponies so that's the theme of her birthday this year. Hoping that the weather will be better next year. Still, she had fun with her special day.

i remember an officemate also experienced this, but her daughter's birthday (or was it baptism) was in july. there were several empty tables.
it's so nice when your birthday falls on a holiday.

@cherriefic it's been continuously raining here, too. but yesterday and today, the rain would fall later in the afternoon and evening, so it's relatively dry and less gloomy during the day.

She really enjoyed her birthday. But the weather seems to be really bad for a few days after. Hopefully next year it will be sunny.
