Beautiful Scotland.

spectacular scenery, scotland, braveheart,
Pamplona, Spain

Scotland has some of the most spectacular scenery you could ever come across in a lifetime. There are mountains where I am living but the beauty of Scotland calls to me in some way or another much like the music of Braveheart that I am listening to right now. Spectacular is the adjective I am using here just to contemplate it. It leaves me without words I can tell you hope you get to see it someday. Have a great day ahead all. Okay all this is to state that when I say Scotland is spectacular in itself does not mean to say that I don´t think other places are spectacular too. Hope this point is cleared up as it was not my intention to say that Scotland was the only spectacular place you could get to see in a lifetime. There are some astounding sceneries from around the World that I have seen also and they are also spectacular.

I had not realized that there was a 2 hours long soundtrack. The composer is talented and the music beautiful, I am listening to it right now in background

@topffer So glad you like it tops its one of my favourites always. At the start of the film of Braveheart it starts with some astounding views of mountains covered in a beautiful mist and I feel that the music says it very well. I have indeed got Scottish origins aye I haeve that. I have only one name to go on at the moment and I will start from there and see where it goes.

@topffer Not from here no I would start with what I have got from England and work backwards and its very expensive as I would have to pay the minimal fee for a birth certificate but I think its worth it.

@lovinangelsinstead21 You pay per certificate ? When it is not free we pay only a small amount for a global access. The goal is to have less people going to public archives : they have less people to pay.

@arthurchappell Scotland and Ireland and Wales are my very favourites more so Wales because I went there quite a few times and worked there also and tried to learn the language taught to me by a very good friend Alwena who laughed at me speaking Welsh and I laughed at her tryi8ng to learn Spanish.

Yes but I cannot verify it correctly as I have no real base to go on except for one surname itself.

I've been to Scotland. I travelled through the country up to the north coast for three weeks and can say that the landscape is impressive. But to claim that it has "some of the most spectacular scenery you could ever come across in a lifetime" seems to me the exaggeration of a lifetime. I'm adding a photo of the Italian island of Sardinia. Similar landscapes can be found on Corsica and the Greek islands.

Its all a question of "feeling" that you have for the place and each one is free here to express how they feel. Its also beautiful but Scotland is a part of me too which I cannot deny. I also like other countries but spectacular is the word I am using for Scotland as I feel it and deem it to be so.

A bit of the scenery in Braveheart is also from Ireland as well but not the hilly and mountain bits as someone told me. I was surprised as I thought it was all in Scotland itself you know how the Film Makers work.
